We are fourth generation farmers and ranchers. Our roots reside in Illinois but our hearts have always been in Texas. We pride ourselves in raising quality beef to feed America. Our commercial cow calf herd currently stretches over three counties. Our registered black angus heard is growing as we seek to raise quality bulls for our operation as well as the public. We are constantly looking for more ground to lease for our operation. Our clearing and land management business has opened up many avenues for our lease properties. It has been crucial for our land owners and improving our cattle numbers.
We raise ranch and cutting horses that we use on our operation daily. We merged our horse program in the early 2000’s with my wife’s family who predominantly raised paints. It prompted us to cross his prized paint mares with leading NCHA stallions like Smooth As A Cat, which lead us to foaling out Smooths First Tobicat. The rest is history.
Along with our horse program we ride for the public as well as take in board horses. Starting colts for any direction our clients wish, establishing a strong foundation for versatile horses.
Post 9/11 we realized how vulnerable we can be as American’s living in this fallen world. After coming to Texas Alan started researching more and practicing and building up our range. Today he heads up our church’s security team giving our members peace of mind while in attendance at our small community church. Our security business is in its infant phase but our expansion is on the horizon. Our youngest is joining the team as she is expanding her skills in martial arts, already earning herself two black belts in different arts and her work with personal protection dogs.
